I had my own apartment, pre-family....I own a house. I had my own apartment, pre-family. Neither subsitutes for my childhood retreat of choice. Nor do they come close to the wild joy I see in my son when he play in one of his tents (yes, he has 2). But, I do have a little nook in our living room with a chair right by the window that is all mine. Escaping there for a few minutes comes much closer to the contentment I found in my secret childhood hiding places. It's small and not even particularly private, but carving out a tiny place of my own amid all the chaos, does make a difference.mamaladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17887689533702019292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21166038.post-24554736349816052242008-03-12T09:47:00.000-04:002008-03-12T09:47:00.000-04:00I too want a tent, Ima Shalom. I have a whole hous...I too want a tent, Ima Shalom. I have a whole house and everything, but it doesn't make a difference. I want a tent! I think it's just a matter of wanting to get back to that warm, snug, womb-like feeling. Maybe you wouldn't have the same type of fun your son has in his tent, but no way it would be wasted. You could use your tent for Ima quiet time! =)Mahotma Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15786551826654542104noreply@blogger.com
